Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious junior or newly qualified solicitor who is committed to developing
their expertise in real estate development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team
working on all aspects of development work from site acquisitions to unit sales.

offers a unique early stage career opportunity to deepen your technical legal experience as well as
your client and business development skills. Working closely with the lead partner who has over 30
years’ experience in this area of practice, the role deals with all aspects of residential development
to include:
- Development site purchase to include all aspects contract approval, searches, commercial
enquiries and dealing with institutional lenders requirements, contractor warranties, client
report on title, SDLT, VA and, Land Registrations. - Working closely with the paralegal team to monitor the progress of plots sales on
development sites from reservation to completion and overtime taking more of a
management lead with the direction of this team. - Liaising with and dealing with enquires from clients, purchaser solicitors, selling agents from
reservation to completion - Supporting the production of legal documents
- Dealing with post completion matters
- Occasional residential purchases and sales
Previous experience necessary either during training or post qualification in either commercial or
residential property. You must be personable able to work on your own and within a team including
advising and assisting paralegals, also learning from and working closely with the team leader.
You will have a lot of client contact and will be encouraged to develop your skillset on development
work ranging from 10 up to 1000 residential units primarily in Liverpool, Manchester and elsewhere
in the Northwest but with sites in Leeds, Sheffield ,Birmingham City Centre and Kent.
